NSW Association of Fire Investigators (NSWAFI) is pleased to offer the 5-day IAAI 40 hour tested course. This course is designed to provide the new fire investigator with the prerequisite knowledge necessary to properly determine the origin and cause of a fire and to refresh the experienced fire investigator with his/her current knowledge base as it relates to the scientific investigation of a fire scene.
This course provides the basis for the IAAI Fire Investigation Technician (IAAI-FIT) designation.
DATE: 18-22 May 2026 (08:00-16:00)
LOCATION: Metropolitan Fire Service (MFS) Adelaide Fire Station, 99 Wakefield Street Adelaide. Level 3 Conference room.
Morning Tea, Lunch & Afternoon Tea will be provided.
One day (Thursday) will be in the field investigating a fire scene. Transport will be provided for this day.

COST: $1300 (member NSWAFI, QAFI, VAFI ANZFSS)
$1500 non-member.
